Myron Zucker, Inc. - Active Harmonic Filter (Digital Power Manager)

ACTIVE HARMONIC FILTER

DIGITAL POWER MANAGER

In collaboration with top engineers in the power electronics industry, Myron Zucker, Inc. is pleased to offer the Digital Power Manager (DPM), an Active Harmonic Filter designed to actively eliminate harmonic distortion.

Using state-of-the-art UPS technology and the most powerful microcontroller and electronics available in the market today, the DPM successfully eliminates harmonic distortion, high crest factor and improves the power factor to unity while balancing the utility lines.

Unlike a passive harmonic filter, the DPM does not require detailed knowledge regarding the nature of the load or type of harmonics involved; DPM responds to the exact need as it develops. Myron Zucker, Inc. will help you determine the right harmonic filter for your power quality needs.

The DPM can be incorporated with any type of non-linear plant loads to provide low harmonic distortion and unity power factor to the plant utility grid to help meet ANSI/IEEE 519-1992 requirements, under all constant and variable load conditions.

Benefit:
  • Actively eliminates harmonic distortion
  • Reacts instantly to varying load conditions
  • Improves power factor to unity
  • Balances three-phase loads
  • Reduces utility costs
  • Meets ANSI/IEEE 519-1992
