Myron Zucker, Inc. Power Factor Correction Capacitors are available in either fixed or automatic configurations depending on your facility requirements and optimization techniques. Utilizing our patented CelTel® indicator system, you never have to question whether the capacitor is functioning at peak performance.
Also available for popular Motor Control Centers (MCC) from Allen Bradley, Siemens, Square D, and Eaton-Cutler Hammer are MZI's Traymount systems.
HARMONIC FILTERS
Non-linear loads such as Adjustable Speed Drives, 6-pulse Converters, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, etc. are likely causes of damaging harmonics in your system. These harmonics contribute to problems such as blown fuses, overheating of equipment, misfiring of AC and DC drives, to name a few.
Myron Zucker, Inc. has developed both automatic and fixed harmonic filtering products that are designed to eliminate or reduce harmonics in your electrical system.
TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SURGE SUPPRESSORS (TVSS)
Transients may be generated from sources outside the business, such as lightning, car accidents, and even normal switching operations. To protect against the undesired effects of these voltage transients, consider the use of MZI's transient voltage surge suppressors for use at your service entrance or branch panels.

The heart of our PFC systems and Harmonic Filters is the 3-Phase PFC Capacitor. In the event you need to replace existing capacitor cells, or source capacitors for a new application, Myron Zucker, Inc. carries a full line of capacitor cells in voltage ranges of 240, 480, and 600 VAC up to 20 KVAR per capacitor cell.
